Well it is the start of a new year and we had the first lesson yesterday. I wasn't quite with it though. I feel like I just woke up from a very deep sleep and will take a week or so to get back into the swing of things again and get with the program. I did some rough logos in illustrator to try and get some rough ideas down for the first logo assignment for the airport. It's funny though from my own previous experiences of Berrima I wish they actually would build an airport there because it would mean that they would finally do something about the crappy transport issue.
Well I did some more work at home for the logo designs and I did the black and white roughs as well here they are at the bottom of the page.

I think the readings on logotype and corporate identity are good articles to read and consider as an introduction to this subject as a whole because these articles reflect what the overall meanings and definitions of the terms logotype and corporate identity It describes what these are for and how they are used in a educational encyclopedia type of manner. In relation to my own work I looked at the logos I did of my black and white roughs and compared this information to the work that I did for this week I thought of what can be the corporate identity of an airport and how I would relate this to my logo designs and try to develop a corporate personality for the business. The logos I have below are some rough ideas that I came up with but they are not fully established yet.
