The bus and Van
The design on these is important for it is advertisement on wheels. The design on these vehicles is something that could be broadly recognised in the community and will be viewed by many. These have the secondary graphics is modified in the way that the design can work with the shapes and dimensions. This is also accompanied with the logo and web address on the side of the bus and van.
The pantone colour selection
The colours used in all of these designs are pantone solid coated colour. It is important to keep a record of this in case of further changes to the designs. It can be used as a reference for both the designer and the client. Another good reason for this is for printer purposes. The colours included are:
Pantone black C, Pantone 274 C, Pantone blue 072, Pantone 2716 C, Pantone 2707 C, Pantone Hexacrome Yellow C, Pantone 100 C, Pantone 431C C, Pantone 430 C, Pantone 427 C.
Accompanying fonts
The fonts are also important to keep a record of as well as the colours due to the fact that they are vulnerable to unexpected or unwanted changes under certain circumstances. The fonts used in these designs are very commonly used and are considered to be quite standard. This has been done for the simple reason that there will be allot fewer
complications and unwanted changes that could be possible in the future. This also makes the type more printer and designer friendly.
The fonts used include: Arial rounded MT bold/regular, Century gothic/bold and
regular, Myriad/Roman.
Preliminary work
The preliminary process work is significant in the way that it is the process that all of these designs have been through over time in order to create a good end result and it is also part of what developed the themes and personality of the designs. It also allows there to be more flexibility in the way that there are many options to work with.
